Photography Workshop With Kenny Kim

Discovering Italy: Photography Workshop With Kenny Kim
Buon Giorno! I recently had a chance to visit Italy for two weeks. During this time, I was mesmerized and blown away by the numerous treasures that Italy had to offer. It was such an enriching experience and during this time, I kept repeating to myself, “If I could only share with others what I am seeing right now...” This motivated me to finally come up with a workshop of my own. This is not a typical “sit down in a classroom setting” type of workshop. You will be traveling with me to various parts of Italy immersing yourself in their culture and learning about their way of life. Best of all, we get to capture all this with our cameras!
dates are: September 14-21, 2009

The Mike Colón XI 4-day Intensive
05/18/09 to 05/21/09

Ok short and to the point!!
As some of you may know, I've known Mike Colón for many years now. I have been blessed to
shoot with him all over the world. Just to mention a few NYC, Aruba, Puerto Rico Paris,
Monaco, Italy, Tuscany, Florence, Miami Fl, West Palm Beach, Toronto Canada, Santa Barbara,
all over California.
Yes, there are a lot of workshops and seminars out there, many good ones, but few great ones.
To say his is one of the great ones would be an understatement.
At Mike's Workshop you will meet amazing people from all over the US and possibly abroad! You will build up the most incredible portfolio. Listen, I can just go on and on. I've come a long way and a lot of it has to do with me going to Mike's workshop many years ago. I promise you a lot
of the popular photographers you see out there, have gone through Mike Colón.

If there is a workshop you've been waiting for all year, look no further guys, this is it.
If you are ready to step up to the plate and soak up priceless knowledge the time is now. Everyone knows times are a bit tough now, but that is even more reason to attend! Mike is a marketing wizard and he will share his amazing tips with you during this workshop. Don't miss out on this opportunity!

There are only a few seats left so don't wait to long.

JACKSON'S SMILE

While I am very fortunate to follow and live my passion for documenting people and the union of two families, it is also very rewarding to be able to give back to others in need. Please allow me to tell you the story of Jackson and hope you can join me and my friends Cameron Ingalls, Jose Villa and Sarah Rhoads in our efforts to give baby Jackson the gift of a smile.

The story of Jackson

Jackson was born with a rare syndrome called “Simpson Golabi Behmel” as well as a cleft lip and palate. His smile has cost hundreds of thousands of dollars thus far. Jackson has already had two major surgeries in just his first year of life. He is destined for a childhood of plastic surgeries, not to mention other surgeries to address the various anomalies associated with his extremely rare syndrome.

His parents, Daniel and Halle, are doing all they can to provide Jackson with a healthy life. Without insurance and financial gifts from others, Jackson's medical expenses would total close to one million dollars by now, just so he can eat, drink, and smile. Simple gifts that most of us take too much for granted.

What is Jackson's Smile

Jackson's Smile is a coalition of photographic artists dedicated to giving baby Jackson and others like him some of our most precious resources; our time, our money, and our talent.

Photography has been making people smile for over a hundred years. This is our opportunity to give Jackson the gift of his smile, and to receive a piece of photographic art so we too can remember just how much of a gift our smile is every time we look at it.

How you can help Jackson

Please visit
www.jacksonssmile.com and support baby Jackson by purchasing a print or two, keep up with news on his progress and to learn about other artists joining this noble cause.

*A portion of the proceeds will go directly to support more kids like Jackson at the Craniofacial Center at the
Children's Medical Center Foundation of Central Texas.

Thank you!
